The tranquil scenic coastal town of Anglesea is situated along the Great Ocean Road between Torquay and Airey's Inlet, Victoria, Australia - it forms the gateway to the beautiful Great Otway National Park. It is a popular tourist resort, with patrolled surf and swimming beaches. The town is surrounded by bush and heathland; the latter (known as the Anglesea Heath) is famous for its unique diversity of flora and fauna.

If swimming, surfing or windsurfing is not your scene, there are plenty of other attractions in Anglesea and along the Great Ocean Road. Activities such as bushwalking or cycling the numerous local trails; strolling, canoeing and/or bird watching in the wetlands (Coogoorah Park); surf or river fishing for your evenings tucker; whetting one's appetite at the local eateries; taking in the breathtaking sights of the Great Ocean Road and idyllic splendor of the Otway Ranges,  or simply playing golf amongst the nonchalant kangaroos.
